Large independent Telecommunication Company is currently looking a dynamic individual for Logistic Manager position with at least 3 years experience in Telecom industry as a Logistics Manager or Team Lead
The main focus: Logistics & Warehouse set up and development
Logistic managers coordinate the efforts required to bring in the telecom equipments and supplies.
The Logistics manager supervises the warehouse activities
The role will be for clearances of goods from the customs through the companies C&F agents
The function will be responsible for opening LC and dealing with the compliances for duty and statutory requirements by law for importing goods and equipments
Logistics managers will hire, train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse team, stockroom employees and delivery drivers who work for the company. Managers use the appropriate software to track supplies of telecom equipments and goods ,and also ensure that all deliveries arrive on schedule, and keep the costs of operating a warehouse as low as possible.

Regular coordination with shipper/vendors to receive booking, cargo, document & handle the shipment properly.
Regular visits to shippers / Buying office and report to Manager with findings ( once a month to cover all customers)
Prepare and maintain SOP for all agents/ customers/ shippers to be available at all times.
Other works as per assigned by the Supervisor.
Prepare necessary operational report, etc.

Educational Requirements
MBA/Masters

He will be responsible for local purchase of the Company,
Has to arrange to procure materials from different sources as per requirement of the organization including floating enquiries,
Collection of quotations, preparing comparative statements, obtaining approvals, issuing purchase orders,
Ensure product delivery related matter all over the companies area,
Maintain and calculate credit , CMR & OD of customers
Following up of shipments and clearing of products to whole the country,
Up dating credit & logistics status from time to time etc.

Responsible to ensure that documentation of incoming stocks are properly handled and accurately checked upon receipt.
Responsible to ensure that receipt of stocks are accurately encoded in system
Responsible to ensure that stocks are properly handled and stored to prevent damage, spoilage and deterioration.
Responsible to ensure that picked stocks are complete and accurate before checking
Responsible to ensure that picked stocks are properly and accurately checked for completeness, timely delivery of stocks, and cold chain is maintained prior to dispatch and delivery
Responsible to ensure that stocks are available at the loose picking area.
Responsible to ensure complete and accurate receipt and documentation of all stocks returned upon delivery.
Responsible to ensure that request for Stock Transfer to Principal and other branches are documented and processed properly.
