Responsible to deal promptly with children who fall and cut themselves or get sick within school premises
Responsible to manage the Sick Room and ensure that the Sick Room is well equipped and there is always availability of medicines
Preparing annual budget for maintaining the Sick Room as per policy
Supervise the sick patients and ensuring their safety & security
Responsible to support, advise & counsel children experiencing mental health problems such as depression
Plays a key role in identifying health concerns and treatment measures, providing instruction, counseling and guidance in the maintenance of good health practices and disease preventions
If required, provide confidential health advice for individual children
Responsible to provide advise for teachers and school staff on childhood illness to control infectious diseases

Implement and provide Primary Health Care services
Refer the serious and critical patients to respective hospital if required.
Oversee welfare activities and census.
Supervise the works of medical assistant/ health workers/ first aiders.
Organize seminar on hygiene, first aid, occupational health or any epidemic break out.
Report to HOD-HR & Admin and communicate for any health and welfare related matters.

Manage Unit's work plan, budget and resources.
To carryout implementation of the program by providing training of First Aid and Nursing.

Look after graduate welfare forum to guide and council for their establishment & development.

The Lady Doctor is required to attend two colocated factories of Shanta Group in Dhaka EPZ, Savar two/three days a week ( Sunday, Tuesday or/& Thursday), 3 hours a day. Each factory having well equiped Medical Rooms with two female Paramedics in each.
Should have at least 2 years experience as a General Practitioer as a doctor.

Educational Requirements
Minimum SSC with Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery / Medical Technology (Pharmacy is preferable) / Paramedics

Check stock of Medicine monthly and record the medicines, dressings and instruments that need to be ordered each month.
Check expiry dates of medicines on a monthly basis.
Sterilization of dental and medical equipment daily
Manage filing of individual student medical record books on a daily basis.
Collect daily student’s sick list from classes and organize ordered student attendance at medical Center everyday.
Supervise cleaners to maintain Health Care Center Hygiene.
Notify Medical In-charge about medical emergencies immediately.
