James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University calls for applications from appropriate candidates for the position of Senior Research Assistant (Social Sciences/Qualitative Data Specialist) for an initial period of 6 months. The position is subject to renewal based on the performance of the incumbent and fund availability. It is a full-time contractual position at the School of Public Health.
The Senior Research Assistant (Social Sciences/Qualitative Data Specialist) will fulfill the following responsibilities:
Develop project proposals, concept notes, reports and dissemination materials as required;
Develop/translate/pretest instruments for qualitative data as required;

• Adequate skill to treat patients. Motivational power for the patients;
• Knowledge on reporting and competency to treat the patients by maintaining the schedule;
• Adequate knowledge to prepare work plan;
• Mentality to work with disabled children;
• Adequate knowledge on special equipments for the disabled children;
• Capability to work by cooperation with Paediatric Physio and Special Education unit;

• Ensure proper medical care for all employees of 3 Hop Lun factories
• Refer the serious and critical patients to respective hospitals, if required;
• Supervise the works of Medical Assistant / Health Worker and First Aid workers;
• Oversee welfare activities and census;
• Arrange counseling program regarding health and safety issues;
• Organize seminars on hygiene, first aid, occupational health or any epidemic break out;
• Report to HOD & HRM and communicate any health and welfare related issues.
• It is a full time job.

See and attend patients at hospital OPD and indoor.
Refer the serious and critical patients to district hospital if required.
Oversee welfare activities and census.
Supervise the works of compounder/ medical assistant, midwife, dresser and primary health workers.
Organize seminar on hygiene, first aid, occupational health or any epidemic break out.
Implement and provide Primary Health Care services.
Approve sick leave of the workers and garden staff according to company’s rules and regulations.
Approve maternity leave of pregnant workers and staff according to Labour Law.
Report to garden Manager and communicate with him for any health and welfare related matters.

Friendship is looking for Medical Officer’s for its community health programs in field level. Overall responsibilities of the medical officer would be managing the communities based Primary Health Care services, Family planning Program, and treatment of the patients.

Have to handle regular and emergency cases at the work place.
Give treatment to the patients accordingly and follow up.
Manage emergency situation.
Guide all the employees about use of first-aid-box.
Ensure healthy working environment.
Sufficient knowledge on Health Compliance issues.
