Job Description / Responsibility
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Dhaka-based Program Coordinator will play a key coordination, reporting and communications role with regards to harmonizing PROSHAR’s three strategic objectives. Reporting to the Chief of Party, the Program Coordinator will ensure technical coordination across teams through frequent individual follow-up and travel to Khulna. The Program Coordinator will also play a key communications function, utilizing his/her strong command of English to draft the initial drafts of PROSHAR’s monthly reports, as well as updating and generating other project communications materials, as required.
RESPONSIBILITES:
In coordination with the COP, and based on feedback from key personnel, prepare and finalize a quarterly calendar of all technical coordination meetings (face-to-face or virtual), and share this will all participants by the beginning of each quarter;
Organize, coordinate and minute all technical coordination meetings in Khulna or Dhaka;
Based on meetings with staff, proactively communicate programmatic challenges to senior management in a timely manner
Compile information on activities, data and results from all PROSHAR teams and draft all monthly and/or quarterly reports, including those for USAID, in the English language;
Work jointly with ACDI/VOCA Headquarters to finalize reports prior to submission;
Provide support to the preparation of Annual Results Report and Pipeline Resource Estimate Proposal (PREP) as required to ensure their timely submission;
Draft project success stories in collaboration with PROSHAR staff and Partner NGO’s (PNGO) and, on an ongoing basis, compile and organize project photographs (with captions);
Develop and update PROSHAR communications materials, including the project one-pager, PowerPoint Presentations, materials required for America Week and other events, as required;
Serve as the project’s primary point of contact for all branding and marking questions or concerns;
Monthly travel to Khulna for coordination meetings and other activities assigned by supervisor;
Other duties as assigned by the Chief of Party.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Social Science (e.g. Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Communications, Journalism) or the equivalent of seven years of professional relevant experience.

Additional Job Requirements
Age 35 to 40 year(s)
Fluency in the English language (spoken and written) mandatory;
Professional background in international development or a related field, working in an environment with expatriate staff, required;
Previous experience on a USAID-funded development activity preferred;
Previous professional experience in livelihoods promotion, health and nutrition and/or disaster risk mitigation strongly preferred;
Excellent skills in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
