Job Description / Responsibility
• Organize, plan, manage, control & improve the activity and productivity of service dept. in order to provide the best support activities.
• Assure and control the balance between available capacity and support services planning/ workloads.
• Co-operate, co-ordinate & communicate with sales and procurement dept. for acceptance of customer agreement technical clauses, quotation in order to combine our internal forces for success towards the customers.
• Assure response and implement any corrective action resulting from internal & external audits in order to comply with regulations.
• Manage, communicate & motivate staff in line with company’s vision, mission, in order to achieve maximum performance, team development and people satisfaction.
• Cooperate with EC team for budgeting and its control and contribute to dept. profitability.
• Ensure timely project completion, quality of work, cost control, continual improvement and timely bills submission including keeping of documents and records.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the goals and utilize to manage the service department to an operating income target.
• Manage, develop and lead service personnel to facilitate an environment where employees are empowered and willing to initiate process improvements within the service department.
• Ensure customer complaints are dealt within a structured time frame, logged and initiating appropriate corrective action as necessary.
• Ensure standard procedures & processes are adhered to and only proper documents/tools/resources are used or employed.
• Lead a team in conceptualizing, developing and executing the project plans.
• Keep operational expenses of service within the limit.
• Ensure timely receivable collection and AMC of projects and others.
• Arrange training programs for end users maintenance team and internal technical people’s development.
• Maintain adequate spares for emergency activities including overhauling and reduce warranty cost significantly.
• Keep stocks of spares within the ABP approved limit.

Educational Requirements
4 years bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience Requirements
6 to 8 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
The job holder requires demonstrating strong analytical ability, planning, presentation skill, negotiation skill, computer literacy, ability to work under stress and team player mentality.
The incumbent should have minimum 6 to 7 years “hands on experience in installation and service of power generation and power conditioning products, capable of explaining critical technical / special features of which at least 2 years in Managerial position in a capital machinery and services sector.
