Job Description / Responsibility
Implementation of the project activities including pre, post and environmental survey at field level specially earth work in Road, Embankment, Ground Raising, Canal and Pond Excavation.
Selection of the site of safe water options, supervision the installation work and ensures its quality.
Selection of the shelter site, supervision the construction works and ensures its quality.
Having good experience in hygiene promotion and Sanitation.
To prepare Estimation of different interventions and prepare bill of quantities (BoQ).
Conduct Technical and environmental survey (pre-survey, post survey etc) as per project requirement.
Maintain attendances sheet and responsible for Labor Payment activities
Assist to Project Engineer to prepare different types of project reports.
Prepare bill & check the bills vouchers
Support for the Procurement of materials like requisition, quotation collection etc.
Monitor the working progress & ensure the quality of project activities & inform Project Officer timely.
Conduct Training sessions accordingly the project requirement.
Coordination & networking with stake holders
Involve UDMC & other Project implementation teams for implementation of the project
Ensure visibility of the project.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.

Educational Requirements
Diploma in Civil /Construction Engineering from any government polytechnic institutions.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
NGOs

Additional Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years working experience in NGO/ iNGOs. Experience may be relaxed in case of suitable candidate.
Should be well experienced in Cash for Work, Safe water options, low cost shelter construction and Sanitation.
Should bear knowledge on cash grant and should be experienced on training facilitation specially on WatSan and Shelter Intervention.
Good knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
Must bear valid driving license and should bear to drive motor bike willingly at field level.
Job Location will be Koyra Upazila of Khulna District.
Project Duration - Nine Months (up to September 30, 2012).
