Job Description / Responsibility
Extend the functionality of the automated functional test framework
Extend the features and further productive the load test framework and tools
Contribute ideas in a collaborative, supportive team environment
Help to estimate and prioritize tasks, and track progress in an agile development methodology.
Understands Java/J2EE and common design patterns; (X/D)HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Ajax
Understands relational databases/SQL
Understands JUnit, performance analysis, profiling, benchmarking etc.
Understands networking protocols such as TCP/IP, WebSocket, HTTP Streaming, XMPP, Jabber, IMAP etc.
Experience with XML and multi-media applications
Knowledge of Spring, Tapestry, Struts or any other web framework
Bachelor degree in computer science
Educational Requirements
BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
System Engineer (Computer Network & System), Software Architect, Team Leader (Software), Technical Lead (Software)
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
IT Enabled Service, Software Companies
Additional Job Requirements
5 years of experience with C, C++, Java, or .net
2 years in a technical leadership role
Lead a team of min 5 to 7
Minimum of 3 - 4 years developing internet applications with Java
Minimum of 3 - 4 years developing enterprise applications
Experience with network/system administration a major plus
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle) and/or nosql solutions (Redis, MongoDB, membase)
Comfort build and release tools like hudson, ant, maven, etc
Personality to handle responsibility, collaborate and excel in small team environment
Very Nice to Have:
Experience with Android, BlackBerry or other constrained devices/platforms
Experience with Hibernate
Experience with multiple Java application servers
Experience with Eclipse or similar IDE
Experience with JMS
experience developing automation tools.
