Job Description / Responsibility

Job Category: Management Grade
Discuss the objectives, requirements, and budget of a project;
Provide various pre-design services which may include conducting feasibility and environmental impact studies, selecting a site, or specifying the requirements the design must meet;
Prepare drawings and present ideas for review;
Develop final construction plans that show the construction's appearance as well as details for its construction;
Follow construction codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other ordinances;
Make necessary changes throughout the planning process;
Using IT in design and project management, specifically using software packages such as Computer Aided Design (CAD);
Keeping within financial budgets and deadlines;
Producing detailed workings, drawings and specifications;
Specifying the nature and quality of materials required;
Negotiating with supplier, contractors and other professionals;
Controlling a project from start to finish;
Regular site visits to check on progress, supervising work force, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget;
Resolving problems and issues that arise during construction;
Ensuring that the environmental impact of the project is limited.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor degree in architecture or civil engineering from a recognized university.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
Age below or equal to 35 year(s)
At least 5 year(s) experience in a reputed company.
Ability to work quickly and to able to work under time pressure.
Knowledge in Interior design will be recognized as a strong additional qualification
Ability to operate related software programs including CAD
Good leadership skill to supervise workforce in construction area
Good aesthetic value
Working financial acumen
