Job Description / Responsibility
Taking the existing socio- economic realities, especially in the north part of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Nazarene Mission initiated Child Focused Community Development Project( CFCDP) in 10 Villages of Laksmichap Union under Nilphamari district.
The Purpose of the position supervises the project field staff and all the day to day work of the project in their area. The Project Manager reports directly to the Program Officer and to be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with organization strategy, commitments and goals.
Lead the planning and implementation of project
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Develop full scale project plans
Assemble and coordinate project staff
Manage project budget
Manage project resource allocation
Plan and schedule project timelines
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Provide direction and support to project team
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solution
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Educational Requirements
Graduation i any other relevant field or equivalent qualification.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Field or Project Organizer, Program Officer/Manager, Supervision
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
NGOs
Additional Job Requirements
Age 35 to 45 year(s)
At least 5/7(Five) years experience in handling and managing/reporting/monitoring project Management;
High level of representation, negotiation and facilitation skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Experience of working on child rights issues and organizations working in the area of child rights; a developed understanding of and commitment to children`s rights
Good interpersonal skills, including an ability to work collaboratively within a wide range of stakeholder;
Knowledge and skills in operating MS Office (MS word, Ms Excel) is essential;
Should have good written and oral proficiency in English and Bangla
