Job Description / Responsibility
Conduct market assessment survey and analyze information to design project intervention/activities
Facilitated BDS and WFP FSUP’s livelihoods approach as well as other market development frameworks
Identify and analyze potential opportunities to improve project participants/farmers’ access to markets and to improve efficiency of market actors
Develop implementation strategies for selected IGAs/value chain
Identify potential service providers, input/output market actors, project participants HHs (producers) and develop strategies for analyzing and addressing their constraints
Develop intervention for facilitation of capacity building of market actors
Train and coach UCs, EDOs, partners on market development and facilitate relevant private sector for strengthen their capacities
Analyze the knowledge and behavior of SHKMG/SMEs and their constraints to increase production and access to markets
Organize and facilitate different workshop/ meetings, orientation etc.
Develop monitoring tools & techniques and exercise it for enterprise development
Monitor effective implementation of project activities through regular field visit
Supervise the cash grant support and other support provided to the PPs
Collect anecdotes, prepare case studies on success stories
Prepare monthly/quarterly progress reports for the selected IGAs/value chains of the region
Share the relevant information with all concerned
Ensure systematic documentation of project results and impact

Job Location: FSUP Project Office, Bagbari, Kamarkhanda, Shahid Nagar, Sirajgonj

Educational Requirements
Master degree in Agriculture related subject of Business Administration. Academic qualification is flexible incase of significant experience in rural enterprise development, IGA management & feasibility studies/rural market development issues.

Minimum 5 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
Age below or equal to 38 year(s)
At least 5 years experience in similar project; working experience with ultra poor women for business development is a plus; knowledge & skills in developing and implementing training curriculum/modules; training quality monitoring, supervision and reporting;
Having computer knowledge MS word/excel
Should have valid driving license
